Rental of gas turbine units to meet the additional power requirements at the Linoperamata Power Plant, Crete
Within the framework of Crete’s energy capacity upgrade strategy, TopograF undertook the topographic support for the major project involving the rental and installation of gas turbine units for electricity generation at the Linoperamata Power Plant in Heraklion, Crete.
The project
The main objective of the project is to increase the supply of additional power to the local grid through the installation of modern, mobile gas turbine units. This intervention is part of the broader effort for energy transition and the enhancement of the stability of the island’s energy system, especially in view of the increased summer loads.

Our company provided continuous, comprehensive topographic support throughout the installation, fully meeting the site’s precision requirements. The services we offered included:
