Within the framework of Crete\u2019s energy capacity upgrade strategy, TopograF undertook the topographic support for the major project involving the rental and installation of gas turbine units for electricity generation at the Linoperamata Power Plant in Heraklion, Crete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main objective of the project is to increase the supply of additional power to the local grid through the installation of modern, mobile gas turbine units. This intervention is part of the broader effort for energy transition and the enhancement of the stability of the island\u2019s energy system, especially in view of the increased summer loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
